About the Role
The Director of Assessment and Coaching is a key leadership position focused on fostering student success through comprehensive assessments, progress monitoring, and expert Individualized Education Program (IEP) management. This role also includes teacher evaluations, lesson planning, compliance oversight, and ensuring positive engagement with families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage metrics reporting, student assessments, and progress monitoring systems.
- Serve as the internal expert on IEP compliance, management, and execution.
- Lead teacher evaluations and provide coaching to enhance instructional effectiveness.
- Ensure curriculum compliance and maintain safety standards across programs.
- Serve as a key point of communication with parents, fostering collaboration and trust.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of School to support institutional goals and success.
- Supervise and mentor direct reports, including the Special Education Coordinator, Early Childhood Coordinator, and Intake Manager.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in educational assessments, progress monitoring, and IEP management.
- Experience in teacher coaching, evaluation, and instructional leadership.
- Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year.

Schedule and Location
- Schedule: Monday to Friday.
