Job Description
We are looking for a Master Data Management (MDM) Technical Business Analyst to support data governance initiatives and MDM platform implementations. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business and technical teams, gathering requirements, analyzing data models, and ensuring the integrity of master data across systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements for MDM initiatives.
- Analyze existing data architecture and identify data quality issues, redundancies, and gaps.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for MDM solutions.
- Work closely with data architects, ETL developers, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.
- Facilitate workshops and data mapping sessions with business and IT teams.
- Define and document data governance processes, data standards, and data stewardship roles.
- Participate in testing and validation of MDM data integrations and workflows.
- Support data migration, cleansing, and enrichment efforts.
- Monitor and report on MDM project progress and performance metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst with at least 6 years in MDM projects.
- Strong understanding of MDM concepts, such as data domains (Customer, Product, Supplier, etc.), hierarchies, survivorship, match/merge rules, etc.
- Experience with MDM tools like Informatica MDM, IBM Infosphere MDM, Reltio, Stibo, or TIBCO EBX.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and ability to query and analyze large data sets.
- Experience with data profiling, cleansing, and governance.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodology.
- Knowledge of API-based data integration.
- Background in data warehousing or data lake projects.
Salary : $60 - $70
