Excelraise, LLC is seeking an Laboratory Assistant for our client in Newport News, VA.
***This is Onsite Position***
Sorts, labels, and logs specimens and performs testing procedures in accordance with strict procedures. Sorts and logs specimens, centrifugation, blood separations, and culture materials. Performs venipuncture and skin puncture to collect specimens from patients. Performs testing such as separating and centrifuging specimens, adding reagents to specimens, staining slides, tissue cultures, and DNA probe assays. Transcribes and records test results. Operates sterilizing equipment to decontaminate glassware.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 3 year’s experience
- Phlebotomy Experience
- Communication, Team work, Phlebotomy skills
