Excelraise, LLC is seeking an SAP Project Management Consultant for our client in Columbia, SC.

Scope of the project:
The project scope includes assisting South Carolina Enterprise Information Systems in completing large scale projects involving the successful implementation, configuration and operationalization of security remediation and other critical upgrades and enhancements to the SCEIS system. Familiarity with SAP modules and best practices is crucial. Scope specifically involves management of multiple, parallel security remediation efforts consisting of both inter-related and separate initiatives in a high-volume pace and in a manner that minimizes conflict and interference with other operations and initiatives. Perform as lead Project Manager on multiple projects across our technical and functional systems as needed to support state-wide project initiatives. These projects will involve multiple stakeholders at the executive level and across various legacy systems to continue our goal of integration of all agencies financial, procurement, and human resource functional solutions into our State Enterprise System (SCEIS).
Daily duties / responsibilities:
- Assisting with project initiating, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing.
- Assisting with management of risk, scope, and quality, the scheduling of work and resources, communications, and project costs.
- Monitoring and reporting project progress/status (transparency and accountability).
- Reviewing, collaborating, and integrating vendor partner project planning processes, documents, and associated deliverables.
- Ensuring the integration and transfer of functional and system implementation and operations knowledge from the project team to operational service owners.
- Assisting with developing requests for proposal and other procurement related documents.
- Working with Operations department project managers to implement the PKI, Document up and other DTO technologies and driving those PMs to complete those recommendations.
Required skills:
- Strong project management experience simultaneously manages SAP software implementation and configuration projects while coordinating with operational PMS for infrastructure initiative completion. Strong communication experience. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft project.
