Job Summary
The HR and Compliance Assistant will be responsible for assisting with tracking and monitoring employee injuries, provider licenses, and completion of assigned training. This role requires familiarity with Excel, Outlook, and a strong attention to detail.
Job Duties
OSHA Reporting:
- Promptly documenting all work-related injuries and illnesses on OSHA forms (300, 300A, and 301) including details like date, time, location, employee information, nature of injury, and medical treatment provided.
Workers' Compensation Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all workers' compensation employee claims, ensuring timely reporting and processing.
- Coordinate with third-party administrators, healthcare providers, and employees to manage claims effectively.
- Investigate workplace incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain confidential records of all workers' compensation claims and related documentation.
License Tracking and Follow-Up:
- Maintain a comprehensive database of all required employee licenses and certifications, ensuring timely renewals.
- Monitor expiration dates and proactively notify employees and supervisors of upcoming renewals.
- Assist providers in the renewal process by providing necessary information and resources.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding professional licensing requirements.
Training Tracking and Follow-Up:
- Assist with assigning proper training course in UKG Pro Learning to all Providers that score under 95% on their audit completed by the Certified Professional Coders
- Follow the timeline for follow-up set forth in the Training and Required Acknowledgement Completion Policy, including sending emails and disciplinary action if necessary.
Qualifications and Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent

- Ability to manage time effectively by setting priorities
Physical/Mental Requirements
Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting maximum of 20 lbs.
