Job Title: Central Supply Associate

Facility: Ambassador Healthcare at College Park

Salary: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour

Shift: Full-Time, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Description:

Ambassador Healthcare at College Park is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Central Supply Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement and inventory of supplies and equipment to support the smooth operation of our facility. Key responsibilities include:

• Confirm all orders with a written purchase order and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
• Prepare and submit purchase orders, ensuring they are properly signed and submitted as required.
• Assist in addressing claims for damaged goods, errors in shipment, and returns to vendors.
• Develop methods to determine quantities of supplies and equipment needed.
• Assist the purchasing agent by making reports and recommendations regarding procurement procedures.
• Perform product comparisons for quality and costs.
• Ensure accurate supply charge allocations to departments.
• Fill requisitions for routine supplies and equipment, following up on any delays with vendors.
• Ensure proper delivery and storage of supplies and equipment.
• Update inventory records when receiving and issuing supplies and equipment.
• Organize storage and catalog supplies and equipment efficiently to prevent deterioration.
• Notify departments when special orders have arrived and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor the utilization of supplies to ensure effective care provision and prevent waste.
• Submit charges to the Home Office in a timely manner.
• Ensure vendors provide necessary material safety data sheets (MSDSs) in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Troubleshoot basic IT issues related to supply systems and coordinate with vendors for repairs.
• Set up and coordinate doctors' appointments for residents and arrange transportation as needed.
• Accompany residents to appointments, when required.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with at least 1 year of experience in a nursing home setting.
