Position: Concierge

Facility: Beach Breeze Rehab and Care

Location: West Palm Beach, FL

Shift: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $15 - $20 per hour, based on experience

Position Overview:

Beach Breeze Rehab and Care is seeking a dedicated Concierge to enhance the experience of our Residents by providing exceptional customer service, coordination, and communication. The ideal candidate will have a warm, compassionate demeanor and be skilled in building strong relationships with Residents, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Admissions Department to prepare rooms for new admissions, ensuring all necessary equipment (beds, oxygen, etc.) is available.
• Ensure rooms are clean and ready for new Residents, including verifying previous belongings are removed, and ensuring lights, call bells, and TVs are functioning.
• Assemble welcome baskets and greet new Residents to make them feel comfortable.
• Provide support to Residents and families, addressing complaints/concerns through the Grievance Process.
• Answer call bells and assist Residents or notify staff as needed.
• Attend in-service training, Resident Council meetings, and supervisory meetings.
• Assist with tours and room changes as needed.
• Complete Concierge follow-up forms within 48 hours of admission and prior to discharge.
• Coordinate with laundry to retrieve belongings for readmitted Residents.
• Distribute gift bags for discharged Residents and monitor scheduled smoking sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing home, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or long-term care setting.
• Strong customer service, hospitality, and communication skills.
• Compassionate and proactive approach to Resident care.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
