Job Title: Concierge

Facility: Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Winter Park

Location: Maitland, Florida

Shift: Full Time, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Job Description:

At Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Winter Park, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Concierge to provide exceptional service to our residents. The goal of this role is to offer companionship, emotional support, and facilitate communication between residents and staff, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and dignified manner.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
• Acting as a liaison between residents and various departments to ensure needs are met
• Assisting staff with non-nursing duties such as obtaining ice, adjusting pillows, reading mail, and answering questions
• Ensuring new admissions feel welcome and supported throughout their transition
• Following up with residents throughout their stay and coordinating with departments for continued well-being
• Walking all facility floors daily to ensure the overall well-being of residents and staff
• Assisting the admissions department in obtaining signed admission agreements
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Must possess exceptional customer service skills
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary
• Willingness to seek out and implement new methods and practices
• Ability to read and interpret financial records and reports
• Proficiency with computer systems, system applications, and office equipment
