Shifts: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM (Rotating Weekends)

Pay Rate: $26.12 per hour

Staten Island Care Center is seeking a part-time Cook to join our team! The ideal candidate will prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus while ensuring high-quality food service for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare meals following planned menus, portion control procedures, and therapeutic diet requirements.
• Ensure meals are palatable and visually appealing.
• Use standardized recipes and special diet orders.
• Provide bedtime snacks and meal substitutions as needed.
• Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist in food preparation for special events.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience in food service within a hospital, nursing home, or medical facility preferred (not required).
• Knowledge of food preparation and safety procedures.
