Job Title: Full-Time Cook

Location: Victoria Crossing Rehabilitation Center

Salary: $17 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Prepare wholesome and nutritious meals for residents in accordance with dietary restrictions and preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are strictly adhered to
• Collaborate with dietary staff to plan and execute menu options
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines
• Monitor and manage inventory of kitchen supplies
• Adhere to health and safety regulations in the kitchen
  
  
  

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of cooking experience, with preference for experience in a healthcare setting
• General cooking knowledge and skills
• Knowledge of food sanitation and batch cooking techniques
• Culinary Education or background in a long-term care facility (preferred but not required)
