You will be responsible for mentoring and leading clinical staff, setting goals, and achieving excellence in patient care standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical management and nursing team members.
- Lead the nursing department in delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with company policies, resident care standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff while adhering to staffing plans and state-mandated staffing regulations.
- Ensure competency of nursing staff by developing and updating skills checklists and evaluations.
- Manage and adhere to the nursing department’s annual operating budget.
- Maintain and implement policies and procedures that align with corporate and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Resolve resident grievances and ensure compliance with resident rights policies.
- Innovate and implement new systems and processes to continually improve care delivery.
- Active RN license with no encumbrances in the state of Florida.
- RN Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
- At least 2 years of leadership experience in nursing services administration.
- Proven ability to manage, plan, and oversee budgets and clinical services.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards and compliance requirements.
