Job Description:
The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring that all areas are kept clean and presentable to create a comfortable and welcoming environment. The Housekeeper works closely with the housekeeping team and reports directly to the Housekeeping Director.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned areas, including resident's rooms, corridors, lobbies, public areas, and back-of- house areas, ensuring they meet established standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors regularly to remove dirt, debris, and stains.
- Dust and wipe surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, windowsills, and baseboards, to maintain a clean and attractive appearance.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as necessary.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and countertops, replenishing supplies as needed.
- Restock housekeeping carts with clean linens, towels, toiletries, and other supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager immediately.
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs with no assistance
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
