Occupational Therapist

Position: Occupational Therapist (Full-Time)

Facility: Ambassador Healthcare at College Park

Location: Fort Myers, Florida

Shift: Full-Time

Salary: $46-$53 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with administration, nursing, and other departments to plan and deliver exceptional therapy services.
• Develop and uphold occupational therapy standards to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
• Regularly review and update occupational therapy policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and discharge planning to support comprehensive treatment.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records, treatment notes, and progress documentation.
• Provide leadership and direction to the occupational therapy department alongside the Rehabilitation Director.
• Assist with quality assurance initiatives, continuously improving therapy services.
• Act as a liaison between residents, their families, and our team to foster positive relationships.
• Handle administrative tasks including medical forms, reports, and therapy billing with precision and care.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Active and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
• Strong knowledge of Skilled Nursing Home practices and procedures.
