closely with the housekeeping team and reports directly to the Housekeeping Director.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned areas, including resident's rooms, corridors,
- lobbies, public areas, and back-of- house areas, ensuring they meet established
- standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors regularly to remove dirt, debris, and
- stains.
- Dust and wipe surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, windowsills, and
- baseboards, to maintain a clean and attractive appearance.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as necessary.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and countertops,
- replenishing supplies as needed.
- Restock housekeeping carts with clean linens, towels, toiletries, and other
- supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Director
- immediately.
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working
- environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs with no assistance
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time
- effectively.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and
- hygiene standards.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and
- carrying heavy objects, standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
- Good communication skills to interact with residents, coworkers, and supervisors
- in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemical usage.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping
- operations.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus.
- Ability to Speak, Read and write in English.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
Salary : $17
