Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and implement engaging recreation programs.
• Monitor resident participation, mood, and behavior, documenting progress.
• Collaborate with community resources to enrich programs.
• Participate in care plan development and recreation assessments.
• Conduct interviews with residents and families to tailor recreation activities.
• Assist with special events, including field trips and community walks.
• Provide one-on-one activities for in-room residents (e.g., crafts, writing, reality orientation).
• Supervise smoke room activities and transport residents within the facility.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and adhere to quality assurance standards.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Nursing home or related healthcare setting preferred.
• Skills: Effective English communication, decision-making, and adaptability.
