Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform security guard functions to maintain the safety and security of the facility.
- Monitor the front door to prevent elopement risks among residents.
- Supervise visitor access and oversee the sign-in process.
- Monitor all fire alarm systems and door alarms, following procedures in the event of elopements.
- Utilize CCTV systems for continuous monitoring.
- Maintain vigilance in the front lobby to ensure safety.
- Control access to the facility and prioritize security measures accordingly.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures necessary for the safety of the facility.
- Stay informed about government guidelines and regulations relevant to security protocols.
- Demonstrate excellent observation skills to identify and address suspicious activity.
- Interact effectively with others and take charge when dealing with disruptive individuals.
- Act swiftly and efficiently during emergencies to ensure the safety of residents and staff.
- Conduct COVID screenings as per facility protocols.
- Proper telephone etiquette and the ability to operate a multi-line telephone system are desired.
- Must possess the ability to assess the intent and conduct of individuals within or attempting to access the facility.
- Knowledgeable about computer systems, system applications, and other office equipment.
