Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site High School Chemistry role located in Durham, NC at Excelsior Classical Academy. The High School Chemistry teacher will be responsible for creating lesson plans, conducting experiments, assessing student progress, and fostering a love of science in students through engaging activities and discussions.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Chemistry concepts and curriculum development
- Experience in conducting science experiments and demonstrations
- Ability to assess student understanding and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Experience in integrating technology into lesson plans
