What are the responsibilities and job description for the Armed Security Officer Orlando Area position at Excelsior Defense?
Excelsior Defense is looking for part-time armed security officers to work in the Orlando Area to protect our client's premises, assets, and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions and maintain access control into the property. Doing rounds, scanning in different points throughout the property in the housing contract.
The Officer needs to be prompt with patrolling the community to making sure everything is safe.
These Armed positions are in the Orlando Area (Must have a G Security License)
Part-time:
1. Sunday and Monday from 9pm to 5am (16 hours)
2. Saturday and Sunday from 9pm to 5am (16 hours)
3. Friday from 9pm to 5am (8 Hours)
Qualifications:
- Protect company's property and staff by maintain a safe and secure environment
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully in direct defense or life or property
- Apprehend criminals and evict violators
- Report in detain any suspicious incidents
- Report Writing
- Must have your own weapon
- Must have your G Security License (Must be Active)
Skills Required
- Proven work experience as an Armed Security Officer or relevant position
- Valid D & G Armed Security License (Both Security License must be active)
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Must have your own weapon
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures and protocols
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- Integrity and professionalism
- Detailed report writing
Base Rate: $18.11 hourly
Salary : $18 - $18
