Pay rate: $18.50
Excelsior Defense Inc is looking for an Armed Security Supervisor to manage an armed security post. Must be organized, have a keen eye for detail, trustworthy, and able to manage others effectively. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions and maintain access control into the property.
Hours are Monday - Friday 6a - 2p (40hrs per week)
- Supervising lower-level security guards
- Creating and maintaining schedules
- Fielding calls from officers and client
- Maintaining daily records
- Conducting patrols
- Assisting the security manager
- Leading emergency response drills
- Performing investigations
- Conducting inspections for physical and safety hazards
Skills Required:
- Proven work experience as a security supervisor or relevant position
- Valid Class D Security License & Valid Class G Security License active with the State of Florida
- VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- Integrity and professionalism
- Detailed Report writing
