What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unarmed Security Officer position at Excelsior Defense?
Excelsior Defense is looking for a part time to protect our client's premises, assets, and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions and maintain access control into the property. Doing rounds, scanning in different points throughout the property in the housing contract.
The Officer needs to be prompt with patrolling the community to make sure everything is safe.
This position is in the Orlando Area
Part time:
Thursday and Sunday
Time: 9pm to 5am
Qualifications:
- Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully in direct defense or life or property
- Apprehend criminals and evict violators
- Report in detain and suspicious
- Report Writing
Skills Required
- Proven work experience as a security officer or relevant position
- Valid D security license (D License needs to be active)
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- Integrity and professionalism
- Detailed report writing
Base Rate: $17.32
Salary : $17 - $17
