What are the responsibilities and job description for the YL CPP COORDINATOR position at Excelsior Springs Job Corps Center?
GENERAL FUNCTION:
Ensure the timely reception and warm welcome of new Job Corps student arrivals by providing a well-rounded and highly structured. Prepare each student for successful participation in the Career Development Services System by providing an introduction to Job Corps Center Staff and the roles they play in student's long-term outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor Degree preferably with a concentration in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related educational field. Instructional experience and/or Job Corps or related experience working with disadvantaged youth is preferred.
Or
An Associate Degree with a concentration in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related Education field and two years of demonstrated vocational, counseling, or educational experience.
