Job Description

Excelta isseeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to oversee CNC machine maintenance and facility upkeep, as well as to support our preventive maintenance initiatives. This role includes responsibility for planning and scheduling maintenance tasks, using preventive maintenance (PM) software, and may involve shift-level leadership duties. Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and conduct routine and preventive maintenance on CNC machines to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
• Utilize preventive maintenance (PM) software to track and log maintenance activities and schedules.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on CNC equipment and other building systems.
• Oversee maintenance of facility infrastructure, including minor repairs to plumbing, electrical, and building structures.
• Coordinate installation and setup of new equipment and upgrades to existing machinery as needed.
• Manage time cards, review schedules, and support the team by ensuring adherence to shift-level operational standards.
• Train and provide guidance to maintenance staff and support team members on best practices for safety and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend modifications to enhance equipment reliability and facility functionality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in maintenance, CNC operations, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance roles within a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
• Proven experience in planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules, with familiarity in PM software.
• Strong background in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems on CNC equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team at the shift level.
• Effective communication and organizational skills, with experience in time card management and basic supervisory duties.
• Basic computer skills (email, Word, Excel) for reporting and tracking maintenance activities.
• 40-hr Hazwoper training is a plus (not required)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and use hands and arms to handle and reach throughout the workday.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in an environment with moderate noise levels.

Position Details

• Full-time, non-exempt position with an onsite schedule.
• Salary Range: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour, based on experience.
• Full benefits package, including medical insurance and 401k.
