Job Summary
Exceptional Care for Children (ECC) has an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing skilled pediatric nursing care facility as an RN or LPN . We are seeking candidates available for part time employment, 2 x 12 hour shifts per week, 6pm-6am shift .
ECC is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization committed to providing the highest quality of care and services to pediatric patients requiring transitional, long term, and / or palliative care. We are an around-the-clock residential facility that provides skilled care to medically fragile children, birth to age 21, who have a technology dependency.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provides care and advocacy to residents requiring clinical expertise, and follows nursing process to provide and evaluate care rendered by all team members.
- Participates in the care planning process.
- Documents accurately and completely including the following : narcotic counts, patient assessments, progress notes, crash cart checks, and all other clinical manifestations.
- Advocates for residents within and outside of Exceptional Care for Children. Provides daily interaction, including but not limited to frequent conversation, play and holding / cuddling of residents to provide daily stimulation.
- Provides required training to family members and / or caregivers on specific patient care goals.
- Manages workflow of Staff Certified Nursing Assistant who provides care to assigned patients.
