This position is grant funded as a collaboration between CMS and the Catholic Schools of Mecklenburg County.

The select person will teach students with disabilities that attend St Patrick & Holy Trinity.

The position will be supervised by CMS EC Department.
The teacher will:
•Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
•Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.
•Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provides progress reports as required; meets with parents to discuss student progress and problems.
•Administer and interpret individual educational testing using various testing materials.
•Employs a variety of research based instructional techniques and technology, to meet the student needs

Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations and laws pertaining to exceptional children.

Knowledge and ability to use current technology relevant to specific disabilities.

Ability to produce communication in oral and written formats in a professional manner.

Valid or eligible for NC Certification.
