1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed - Oneida, NY (ST - FM)
A 14-year-old girl is looking for a DSP in the Oneida area to take her out into the community and support her with improving communication skills, social skills and social behaviors. Supporting her with becoming more trusting of adults. She enjoys going to the park, singing, using her tablet, watching movies and YouTube.
The ideal candidate is reliable, patient and has experience working with young adults. The ideal candidate can de-escalate situations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable around animals, as there are two dogs in the home.
This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services.

Hours and days of work: Weekdays after school, 3:30pm - 6:30pm, up to 6 hours per week.
Starting pay: $18.00/hour

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work independently in the person's home and/or community.
- Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills
- No experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
- New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.
