1:1 Direct Support Professional- Camillus Area (Job #DN-NR)
A woman who lives in Camillus with her mom is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist her with community habilitation support during the week and occasional weekends. Her interests include music, walking at various parks, crafting, and going out to eat. She enjoys going to the YMCA and activities/events hosted by EFR.
The ideal candidate needs to be reliable, patient, and vigilant. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with providing personal care and be willing to learn/pick up on how she communicates nonverbally. The candidate should be able to deescalate and assist the woman out of an environment that may be causing her stress.
Hours and days of work: Monday (11am-4pm), Tuesday (4:30pm-8:00pm), Friday (11am-4pm), and Saturday (12pm-4pm)
Starting pay: Starting pay is 20 an hour and increases with years of relevant experience.
Location: Camillus, NY
Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.
Salary : $20 - $22
