What are the responsibilities and job description for the Self-Direction DSP - Cicero Area (Job #SS-MM) position at Exceptional Family Resources?
Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work in the Cicero area with a young lady with epilepsy and ADHD. She and her family are looking for a dedicated DSP to provide support and assist her with working on her goals, both at home and in community settings.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: accompanying and supporting her during community outings; assisting her to pursue her hobbies and interests; assisting her to gain independent living skills; assisting her to increase her social skills and providing transportation, as needed.
We are looking for individuals who are reliable, patient and enthusiastic. Reliable transportation, valid NYS driver's license and a HS diploma/GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.
Schedule: Afternoons and/or weekends.
Approximately 10-12 hours per week.
Flexible schedule to be agreed upon with individual/family.
Pay rate: $20 per hour.
