Direct Support Professional- Syracuse
Exceptional Family Resources is seeking an upbeat Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with an active man with a developmental disability. In this role, you will help him learn key independent living skills, experience social and physical fitness opportunities in the community. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, strong organizational skills and enjoy spending time in nature. (walks, movies, and going to gym)
Related experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required. Please respond with a resume or summary of experience.
Hours and days of work,
Monday, Wednesday & Fridays 3pm-7pm
Payrate: $21.00
Location: Syracuse, NY
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assistance with independent living skills, support with health and safety and pursuing personal interests. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities a plus. A reliable vehicle and a valid NYS driver's license are required. EFR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
