Position Overview
The CNO provides executive oversight of clinical operations, including nursing, imaging, laboratory, and ancillary services. This role combines strategic leadership with operational management, ensuring excellence in patient care across all hospital departments and functions. As a member of the executive leadership team, the CNO plays a crucial role in overall hospital operations and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct clinical operations across all departments, ensuring integrated, high-quality patient care
- Oversee daily hospital operations, including staffing, resource allocation, and interdepartmental coordination
- Develop and implement evidence-based clinical practices and policies
- Lead hospital-wide performance improvement initiatives and quality assurance programs
- Manage operational and capital budgets across clinical service lines
- Collaborate with hospital leadership on organizational strategy and growth
