Job Duties :
- Areas of testing include : hematology, chemistry, coagulation, immunoassay, urinalysis, point of care, and blood banking.
- Uses automated equipment and specialized instrumentation to prepare samples for analysis to aid the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases
- Manages daily workload within the department to ensure patient testing is completed timely
- Reviews quality control results prior to reporting patient results and taking corrective action when needed
- Other duties as assigned
