Job Description

Exceptional Healthcare is seeking Medical Lab Technicians to join its team in Bullhead City, AZ

Job Duties :

Areas of testing include : hematology, chemistry, coagulation, immunoassay, urinalysis, point of care, and blood banking.
Uses automated equipment and specialized instrumentation to prepare samples for analysis to aid the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases
Manages daily workload within the department to ensure patient testing is completed timely
Reviews quality control results prior to reporting patient results and taking corrective action when needed
Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

Must have an Associate's degree in medical technology, chemistry, physical or biological science.

Bachelor's degree preferred

ASCP certified or equivalent

Minimum 1 year of hospital laboratory experience

Knowledge of hospital laboratory practices, including infection control requirements, chemical and biological hazards

Knowledge of governmental and regulating policies and standards
