Home Health Aide

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role is vital in promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for those we serve, including individuals with disabilities and those requiring memory care.

Duties

• Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
• Support clients with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed health regimens.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction.
• Document daily activities and any changes in the client's condition or needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's overall well-being.

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving or patient care is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with long-term care practices, including catheter care, is a plus.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or memory care needs is highly valued.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to providing high-quality care.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
