The Exceptional Learners Collaborative (ELC) is seeking licensed applicants for the 2025-2026 school year. The ELC is located in Vernon Hills (Lake County), Illinois; is a special education cooperative providing services to students identified with special needs, ages 3 through 22 years of age. The ELC represents Kildeer Countryside Community Consolidated School District 96, Lincolnshire-Prairie View School District 103, Adlai E. Stevenson High School District 125 and Fox Lake District 114. The ELC serves eight elementary schools, four junior high/middle schools and one high school.

As we continue to provide world-class, specialized educational services and supports locally for our exceptional learners in partnership with families and districts, the school psychologist will support our students with a variety of needs in a more structured learning environment.

Qualifications
- Illinois Professional Educator License endorsed in School Psychologist
- Master's Degree in School Psychology
- Ability to travel within the member districts of the ELC
- Experience with special education students preferred
- The School Psychologist is directly responsible for the psychological assessment of academic, social emotional, cognitive, and functional domains utilizing problem solving and standardized evaluations.
- The School Psychologist monitors the Full Individual Evaluations (FIE) completion of case study evaluations and participated in Individual Education Plan (IEP) conferences and problem-solving designing systems, programs and services that maximize students' emotional, and educational success.
- In collaobration with staff, families, students and communites the school psychologist promotes effective educational environments.
- Pay ranges from $55,350 - $115,000 depending on education level and experience
- This is a 10-month, Monday through Friday position
