Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Department: Human Resources
Supervisor: Director of TA
SUMMARY: Administers a full-cycle of talent acquisition. A full-cycle of talent acquisition includes, advertising, sourcing, hiring, on-boarding and retention of employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 1. Determines current staffing needs and producing forecasts.
2. Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans.
3. Leading employment-branding initiatives.
4. Utilize Applicant Tracking System to fill open positions and anticipate future needs.
5. Plan and train recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening, etc) for facilities. Will write and place advertisements (social media and job boards).
6. Assist in employee retention and development.
7. Organizes and/or attends career fairs, assessment centers or other events.
8. Uses metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement.
9. Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database.
10. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations.
11. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises regional recruiter(s).
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required. Three to five years of related experience and/or training in the HR field. Proven experience as talent acquisition director, experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employee retention. Excellent communicator, organized, a leader and strategic thinker.
CERTIFICATE, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
SHRM (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) or PHR (PHR or SPHR) certification is preferred but not required.
