Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team. The OT will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic treatments that help residents build, regain, and maintain their independence in daily living activities. The ideal candidate is a compassionate professional eager to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments to determine resident needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
Design and implement therapeutic activities to help residents achieve their goals.
Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment to support daily living.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize care and outcomes.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of resident progress and treatment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current Indiana OT licensure or eligibility for licensure.
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings is preferred.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
