Clinical Supervisor Job Description:
The Clinical Supervisor provides supervision to therapists obtaining clinical hours to ensure good clinical care, proper documentation, and adherence to policies and protocols of both the practice and licensing boards. The Clinical Supervisor will:
- keep accurate weekly records of supervision and identify areas discussed throughout clinical supervision.
- complete a proposed plan of supervision in accordance with Marriage and Family and Social Work boards for all supervisees.
- complete quarterly reviews for LSWs every 3 months as per Social Work licensing board regulations.
- meet with their supervisees weekly for supervision to discuss client cases and offer guidance and feedback to promote the growth of supervisees.
- identify areas for growth in their supervisees and provide feedback to promote this including training, education through books/videos/podcasts, CE courses, and practicing evidenced based skills in supervision.
- work with supervisees to improve ability to engage clients effectively, build rapport, and build and maintain a caseload.
- review all clinical documentation such as accurate charting in the electronic EHR (TherapyNotes), progress notes, treatment plans, intake assessments, and the use of any other areas that make up each of a supervisees’ client records.
- collaborate with the EWC team, including leadership, administrative and Clinical staff.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Have leadership skills such as the ability to create a positive team building environment and provide feedback in a constructive way to supervisees.
- Be able to promote a culture that inspires supervisees to be passionate about helping clients and growing clinical skills.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication
- An ability to work with an EHR and train others to use one.
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented & a good communicator.

Competitive salary: $90,000-$100,000 (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) based on experience, schedule availability, & specialties.
Education:
- Master's (Required) in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Counseling
License/Certification:
- New Jersey LPC / LCSW / LMFT
- Must have certification to provide clinical supervision
