Your Role: As a Janitorial Cleaner, you’ll create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers.

Here’s what you’ll be up to:

• Cleaning and Sanitizing: Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; clean windows, mirrors, and surfaces; disinfect restrooms and common areas; and ensure all areas are free of dirt and debris. Remove stains from surfaces using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• Waste Management: Empty trash bins, dispose of waste properly, and recycle materials as needed. Clean trash receptacles as necessary.
• Restocking Supplies: Replenish supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.
• Maintaining Equipment: Ensure cleaning equipment is in good working order and report any maintenance needs or malfunctions. Keep the janitor closet clean, organized, and safe.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents, use cleaning chemicals properly, and adhere to health and safety regulations. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
• Reporting Issues: Notify management of any maintenance needs, unsafe conditions, or other problems that may arise.
• Additional Tasks: Use industrial equipment, including backpack-style vacuums, to clean floors and carpets. Occasionally use ladders for dusting and cleaning higher areas. Move boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean designated areas. Sweep walkways or perform other seasonal tasks as assigned by leadership.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experienced (or Willing to Learn): Previous janitorial experience is a plus, but we’re excited to train the right candidate.
• Detail-Oriented: Keen eye for cleanliness and a commitment to safety procedures.
• Team Player: Ability to work independently and also collaborate with a fantastic team.
• Dependable: Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are a must
• Must be able to pass a background check
