Your Role:
As a Medical Facility Janitor, you’ll play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting atmosphere for all. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Deep clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces in patient areas, operating rooms, waiting rooms, hallways, break room and offices.
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean windows to maintain a sterile environment.
- Sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors, following healthcare cleaning standards.
- Empty trash bins from patient and common areas, disposing of waste according to medical protocols.
- Restock paper towels, soap, hand sanitizers, and other essentials in restrooms and staff areas.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and maintain organized janitor closets and equipment.
- Regularly clean and sanitize equipment to meet health regulations.
- Follow OSHA and hospital standards for safety, sanitation, and cross-contamination prevention.
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and wear PPE as required.
Additional Tasks:
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment for deep cleaning tasks.
- Perform seasonal cleaning tasks, including carpet cleaning and high dusting in hard-to-reach areas.
- Move light furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed to ensure thorough cleaning.
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior janitorial experience or related
- A sharp eye for cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, friendly team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stay on your feet for extended periods, including walking, bending, and stretching.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
- A meticulous eye for spotting even the smallest dust particles to ensure a pristine environment.
Schedule:
This position currently requires availability Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, shift based on business needs. While occasional early finishes may happen, all team members are expected to clock out only after completing their full shift. Overtime is not guaranteed but may occur depending on workload.
Future Schedule Requirement:
As the company continues to grow, we anticipate that this position will transition to a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM in the near future.
