Responsibilities
- Perform haircuts, shaves, and grooming services tailored to client preferences.
- Provide additional services such as nail care, makeup application, and hair extensions as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
- Utilize MINDBODY software for appointment scheduling and client management.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services.
- Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and meet sales goals.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in barbering techniques and styles.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the salon environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficiency in various barbering techniques including hair threading and eyelash extensions is preferred.
- Familiarity with retail math to assist in inventory management and sales tracking.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- A valid barbering license or certification is required.
