JOB SUMMARY :
Exclusive Resorts is looking for a talented and motivated staff accountant to join our team. This is an entry level position that will be involved with a variety of general accounting and financial reporting aspects to support the company. The primary goal of our group is to maintain the books and financial records for the company, apply acceptable accounting practices and policies, and generate accurate and timely reporting to support the business objectives.
The ideal candidate for this position will thrive in an ever-evolving and fast-paced environment that works closely and collaboratively with team members and leaders. We are looking for someone with Hustle.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Complete various month-end closing activities (i.e., journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliation)
- Prepare and review monthly accruals
- Perform analysis of actual to budget variances
- Maintain tracking schedules for various departments within the organization
- Assist the AP team with coding and invoice processing
- Track and record all fixed assets
- Prepare monthly fixed asset account reconciliations
- Support the annual audit process as necessary, including the preparation of audit schedules related to fixed assets
- Other duties as assigned
