Assistant Controller

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will have a direct impact on the strategies and processes for the Accounting team.
• You must be innovative in finding new ways to establish best practices and efficiencies for the team.
• You will provide necessary support to the Director, Accounting in all aspects of the business; including month end close, account reconciliations, general ledger detail, expense tracking, monthly reporting, and audit.
• You will learn strategies and skills to help you understand business needs and requirements
• You will work closely with the Vice President Accounting & Controller and various internal departmental teams.
• You will conduct GAAP accounting research, complete technical accounting memos, implement applicable accounting treatment and complete a variety of reporting.
• You will be continually challenged to develop and grow by working with the most talented and passionate people in the industry.
• You will manage a group of 3 Staff Accountants
• Hands-on working in the general ledger role
• Other duties as assigned.

• Skilled in Intercompany and Related Party accounting
• BA/BS degree in accounting required
• CPA and a minimum of 3 years audit experience required
