Our growing team is looking for a multi-talented Head of Sales with a specialization in luxury travel sales and/or luxury yachting. This is a full-time, hybrid role reporting directly to the CEO. Candidate must be in South Florida and have experience working in HubSpot CRM - both Sales and Marketing Hubs.
NOTE: Exclusive Yachts will not cover relocation costs. Candidate must currently reside in South Florida.
Primary Role and Responsibilities include:
- help develop and deploy sales strategy for membership pre-sales / sales of a yachting membership club concept
- initiate and drive the pre-sales / sales strategy while recruiting members to meet or exceed established goals
- maintain our prospect database by following the CRM system functionality standards to stay organized, generate reports, etc. (HubSpot experience required; you will be supported by a sales operations team member)
- in addition to the company generated leads provided, be responsible for proactive lead generation via outbound calling and networking
- collaborate with the marketing department to develop programs and campaigns to create brand awareness and generate, nurture, and close quality leads
- plan and activate all networking / sales events in partnership with the executive leadership team
- represent the EY in community and industry activities to build awareness and develop sources for prospective members
- nurture relationships with existing prospects and partners through ongoing lead management and engagement
- participate in various boat shows, private cocktail cruises, member socials, other sponsored networking events
- interact with the network of professionals in the yacht-charter brokerage community
- work with the marketing team, current members, EY yacht crew, and EY staff to promote referral program
Qualifications:
- 6 years in sales; hospitality or travel industry preferred, but not required.
- MUST BE based in South Florida and able to travel to both Naples and Fort Lauderdale FL frequently.
- a track record of consistently exceeding sales goals
- you enjoy picking up the phone, tracking down leads, following up relentlessly on promises and deals, and, most importantly, closing new member sales
- you enjoy working various membership events, from private dinner events to exclusive yachting events
- organized and responsive, keeping in mind that prospective members are often available outside of standard business hours
- experience selling luxury products and/or services to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and entities is a major plus, but not required
- experience in yachting luxury cruise, private aviation, or luxury resort sales via direct and travel partners is also a major plus
- an entrepreneurial spirit is paramount
- strong technical literacy and computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs. (*HubSpot preferred)
- must be proficient with Google Drive and Google Workspace
- extraordinary networking and relentless customer follow-up skills are imperative
- ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including international destinations
Compensation:
