CAD Drafter Designer

Exco Extrusion Dies Inc. was established in 1997 following the foundation of Exco Technologies Limited in 1952. The Exco Extrusion Group has grown to include facilities in Canada, Texas, Colombia, Mexico, and Brazil. The Exco Extrusion Group of manufacturing facilities are part of the largest producers of extrusion tooling globally. Our mission is to provide aluminum extrusion dies which will produce and assure long operating life. Our production capabilities exceed 4,500 dies a month, supporting extruders serving construction, automotive, and consumer goods markets.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Design aluminum extrusion dies based on customer press requirements and customer preferences.
• Transforms original rough product designs into working documents using computer aided design (2D AutoCAD).
• Reviews existing designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and updates.
• Collaborates with customer service team to resolve discrepancies between original drawings and final CAD designs.
• Must be willing to work extended hours, and some weekends.- This is NOT a work remotely position.

Qualifications we are looking for:

• Strong knowledge in 2D AutoCad
• Understanding of geometric tolerances
• Attention to detail
• Machine shop experience-preferred
• Overtime required

Compensation based on knowledge and experience.
