As an outside fleet parts sales representative, you will be responsible for generating the sales of parts in quantities and at profit margins necessary to achieve or exceed market share, revenue, and gross profit objectives, while promoting and ensuring superior customer service and working within a company team environment. The focus is mainly in the fleet account space, managing a large fleet company portfolio.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Establishes and maintains competent product knowledge and sales techniques. Meet and/or exceed annual revenue target, while increasing gross profit margin.
Ensures customer satisfaction with products and services by utilizing effective customer relations and sales principles, promoting business opportunities in all areas of dealership operations.
Maintains and fosters team spirit within the dealership, through collaboration and effective communication with all departments.
Continually grow assigned book of business, while identifying and targeting new accounts. Assigns all customers to online ordering platforms.
Ensures parts orders are communicated to the appropriate dealership personnel. Determines and advises on account priorities and delivery times.
Reviews and obtains manager’s approval for any special-order parts and pricing as necessary.
Works with delivery team to make sure parts are delivered when expected.
Ensures customer experience has met or exceeded expectations.
Follows up on parts orders to ensure that customers have been handled properly.
Advises dealership sales and service department management on new business opportunities.
Keeps detailed call reports in dealership CRM management system. Works with accounting team to update account records as needed.
Compiles and submits expense reports with supporting documentation in a timely manner.
Attends in-person/virtual dealership and corporate training seminars.
Promotes dealership and performs other duties as needed.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Successful candidates must have a documented record of success in fleet account sales
Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening
Maintains professional appearance and work ethic.
Valid Driver's License
