This is a dynamic opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong background in government contracting to make a direct impact. You'll play a key role in securing, managing, and ensuring compliance for contracts related to Power Engineering, Construction Oversight, Procurement, and Testing & Commissioning.Key Responsibilities-Identify and Secure Contracts : Research and pursue government contract opportunities in power and energy sectors.-Proposal Development & Bidding : -Lead the proposal writing and bidding process, ensuring compliance with government requirements.-Manage proposal progress, assign responsibilities, set milestones, and coordinate vendor participation.-Collaborate with internal technical teams and marketing specialists to craft compelling proposals.-Government Grants : Research, submit, and secure government grants for ExecuPOWER.-Stakeholder & Relationship Management : -Develop and maintain strong relationships with government procurement officers and key decision-makers.-Represent ExecuPOWER in contract negotiations and ensure smooth execution of agreements.-Contract Compliance & Performance Tracking : -Monitor active contracts, ensuring adherence to FAR, GSA, and other regulatory guidelines.-Track financial performance, issue invoices, and oversee payment processing.-Provide insights and feedback on RFIs, RFPs, and contract opportunities.-Strategic Collaboration & Reporting : -Provide weekly status updates to the Vice President of Engineering, CEO, COO, and Marketing Specialist, outlining program progress, risks, and key milestones.-Travel as needed for client meetings and site visits, with technical team support when required. What You Bring-Proven Experience : Successful track record securing and managing government contracts, ideally in the Power / Energy industry.-Regulatory Knowledge : Strong understanding of the government procurement process, FAR, GSA regulations, and compliance requirements.-Project Management Skills : Ability to oversee multiple projects, meet deadlines, and ensure proposal and contract success.-Strategic & Analytical Mindset : Ability to identify opportunities, manage risk, and provide performance insights.-Excellent Communication & Negotiation Skills : Ability to collaborate with internal teams and government agencies effectively.
