Cost Accountant – Manufacturing / ERP / Power BI
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Pay: $80,000 - $95,000
Schedule: Onsite (5 days/week)
Our client is a leading manufacturing company undergoing an ERP transition and looking to enhance their financial reporting capabilities. They specialize in delivering high-quality products and are focused on driving efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
They are looking for you, an experienced Cost Accountant, to take ownership of financial reporting, variance analysis, and BI dashboard development. This is a direct-hire opportunity with high visibility across finance and operations.
What you get to do:
- Lead the development of automated financial and operational reports aligned with the ERP system.
- Establish Power BI dashboards and KPI reporting for improved business insights.
- Conduct variance analysis (materials, labor, overhead) and provide actionable cost insights.
- Work closely with finance and operations teams to explain cost drivers and improve reporting accuracy.
What you need to succeed:
- 3-10 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing (salary based on experience level).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred)
- ERP experience.
- Strong Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookup, Hlookup, etc.)
- Power BI experience for reporting and visualization (Tableau is a plus).
- Advanced variance analysis and cost modeling expertise.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
