What You Get To Do
- Manage federal and state litigation of employment law claims.
- Conduct research on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including PACER navigation.
- Draft, review, and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Coordinate client communication and assist with scheduling.
- Prepare trial binders, deposition binders, and assist with trial preparation.
- Handle administrative proceedings with the EEOC, S.C. Human Affairs Commission, and other employment-related agencies.
- 5 years of paralegal experience, specifically in employment law (Federal Employment experience is a must).
- Familiarity with PACER, OSHA, harassment claims, and hostile work environments.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced legal environment and manage multiple attorneys.
- Strong work ethic to thrive under demanding deadlines.
