Procurement Specialist - Supply Chain Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team at ExecuSource. As a strategic thinker with a passion for procurement, you will play a crucial role in supply chain operations.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with industry professionals, develop key supplier relationships, and contribute to improving lead times and overall procurement efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing, fabrication, or machining environment. Strong negotiation skills and experience working with ERP systems are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the purchasing process from quotation to vendor negotiation, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
• Track purchase orders, manage backorders, and collaborate with vendors to resolve issues proactively.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers to diversify sourcing and strengthen the supply chain.

Requirements:

• Strong negotiation skills with a keen ability to drive supplier performance and cost savings.
• Experience working with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred but hands-on experience is valued just as highly.
