What You Get To Do
- Provide preoperative assessment and post-surgery recovery care for surgical patients.
- Monitor vital signs, pain control, and fluid intake/output, reporting any concerns to the anesthesiologist or surgeon.
- Educate patients and families on post-surgery care and recovery guidelines.
- Perform chart reviews and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
- Maintain and monitor surgical equipment, reporting any issues as needed.
- Participate in quality and process improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Assist with restocking, equipment maintenance, and surgery preparation for the next day.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of South Carolina.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- At least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient or specialty clinic setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong clinical skills, particularly in ENT and Allergy surgical recovery.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education skills.
- Experience using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
