Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the leasing process for residential or commercial properties, ensuring a positive experience for prospective tenants. You will work closely with property management to maintain high occupancy rates and foster strong relationships with residents.
Duties
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
- Assist in the completion of lease agreements and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Perform data entry tasks related to tenant applications, leases, and property maintenance requests.
- Engage in upselling additional services or amenities to potential renters.
- Negotiate lease terms and conditions with prospective tenants to secure agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and follow up on inquiries promptly.
- Collaborate with property management and facilities management teams to address tenant needs and concerns.
- Monitor property maintenance issues and coordinate repairs as necessary.
Skills
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations related to leasing and property management.
- Familiarity with contracts and lease agreements is preferred.
- Experience in property maintenance or facilities management is a plus.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills to build rapport with tenants.
- Ability to effectively negotiate terms while maintaining a positive relationship with clients.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly.
